Kicked off the Delta Faucet/ Brizo networking event with a great dinner here in Indianapolis, tonight.  And while I don’t have a lot to report yet on their brands, I have met a handfull of other bloggers worth checking out:

  • Timothy Dahl and Katy Ryan at Charles and Hudson - like us, they’re home-improvement bloggers…currently running a Kitchens special in August.
  • Tim Carter at Ask the Builder – Tim’s been blogging on building/construction/home-improvement-project information since the four of us at OPC were in high school.  So yes, I’m listening when he’s talking.
  • Kim Sweet at Kitchens.com – and I had to meet right away because we’re both “the other Kim” at the event.  Her website majors in kitchen design – something Fred and I are right in the midst of this summer.  She also happens to have friends who are in the process of adopting – the primary topic of my personal/family adoption blog.
  • Tim Layton from The Remodeling Guy – yes, everyone here tonight is either a Tim(othy) or a Kim – so what?  He’s your hands-on sort, and also has made a noticeable effort to get to know every one of us at this event tonight.
  • Joe and Joe from CFT411 – I fear even linking to this blog because Fred has shown great interest in learning wood-working in the past, and he doesn’t need another hobby!!!!  Great guys who have a passion for the details of what they do.
  • Kit Stansley from DIY Diva – don’t let the name fool you.  She’s a tomboy just like me – even owns some donkeys for her yard (yes, real ones!).

Tomorrow promises to give opportunities to meet the rest of the crew here as well as to become quickie-Delta-Faucet-experts.  Will report back then!
